We’ve all got to start somewhere right?

Have you ever felt yourself going through life and while everything may seem ‘okay’ there seems to be something missing?
That was me for a solid 5 years. I graduated high school, moved straight to Savannah,GA to start on my undergraduate degree, made a ton of new friends and was loving the life of being on my own. I had even gone through a few relationships, but every time I left my excuse was,” I’m sorry, but there’s just something missing.”
That something missing, was me. I knew going to school was the ‘right’ thing to do, but there were so many times that things just weren’t going right and it felt like it really wasn’t where I was supposed to be. I always always always wanted to travel and see the world, but the thought of that and the reality of my bank account made it seem like an impossible dream.
So what did I do?

I made the jump.
In 2017, I was still enrolled in school but had taken the summer off. Early that year I made the decision that if I ever wanted to travel, that it was now or never. So, I stopped going out every week, I started managing my savings, and next thing ya know I had booked a plane ticket to Thailand with one of my oldest friends.
In Thailand, I happened to meet two young German blokes on a ferry boat (that I almost missed,) and that day they completely changed my life. What I would do to be able to see and thank them for what they told me! They explained the Working Holiday Visa to me and how they had just left the most amazing year of their life with a solid chunk of pocket money to continue their travels!
Oh, did I mention the day before I met them I found out I wasn’t getting my expected financial aid to return to school that semester?!
Talk about fate.
From that one chance encounter, my life has changed tremendously and I will never turn back. The life of travel is one of beauty, hope, and adventure. 3 things I truly hope everyone has an abundance of in their life. I can’t wait to dive into this journey with those reading this, and my promise is to always be here to make your travel dreams a reality…just as mine did.
